With 3 sessions in the books the 2009 World Championship Fly Fishing event is more than half done. It looks like Team USA and Canada will have to have extremely strong showings in the last day of competition to medal. Just scanning briefly through the individual results is looks like Mike Sexton of the US squad and Donald Thom from the Canadian team are fishing well for North Americans.
Wednesday wraps up the 2009 World Championships with 2 more sessions. Anything can happen and usually does all though it looks like it will be difficult to unseat the 3 rotating powerhouses: France, England, and the Czechs.
