I know it's early but I was wondering if anyone has heard if any of 2010's regionals have been announced or are being planned.

Regionals: no word. Nationals: no word. New Team: no word.

In reference to the new team, the individuals were announced at the banquet after nationals. It stayed pretty much the same; however, Randy Hanner, Kurt Finlayson, and Jim Hickey replaced Brian Capsay, Rob Kolanda, and Riley Cotter.

Way to go Randy, and Kurt for that matter. I fished against these guys 4 times and I was on the same team as Randy at the 2007 nationals. Brian Kimmel was on our team that year as well. They definitely deserve to be there. Randy kicked ass at the Utah regional, he had like 30 something in on session and I could be wrong but close to that in the second session. Maybe he can refresh my memory, either way he destroyed.

Bummer I'm trying to get approval for a tournament in Durango for late May but haven't got a response. I don't feel comfortable organizing if the Team is not behind it.

Brian Good luck if something is going to happen I would like to help. I can also maybe hold one in my area also. But I also need support of Team USA which seems to be lacking at this point.

Best thing to do in the mean time is exactly what you're doing Dave!

Wish the dates for these events could be hammered out sooner than later. I understand it takes alot to do one of these . Wish I could do the SE qual but does not look good for me right now since I have already bid my vacation days for the year ( dont get to many only 10 ) will have to see if I can work out something both home/work.
