Sector I – Myczkowce reservoir.
Part of the Myczkowce Reservoir on the River San. Length of the sector – ca. 2.5 km, width – 100-300 m, depth – 1,5-7 m. Eligible fish: brown trout (Salmo trutta trutta m. fario) – 95%, grayling (Thymallus thymallus) – 5%. Associated species: pike (Esox lucius), perch (Perca fluviatilis), roach (Rutilus rutilus) and whitefish (Coregonus sp.). During periods of water release from the Solina Reservoir the volume of water is ca. 350 m3/sec. (otherwise the water is almost still). sector 1 WC 2010There is a lot of aquatic vegetation in the parts of the reservoir with still water. The competition sector is from the bridge in Solina to the mouth of the stream Bσbrka.
Practice water: part of the Myczkowce Reservoir from the quarry in Bσbrka to the dam in Myczkowce.

solinkaSector II – River Solinka.
Average width of the river – 40 m, depth – 0.4 m, water volume flow – 8,4 m3/sec. During periods of drought the water volume flow may be reduced to 0.82 m3/sec. The gradient of the river is 0,4%. Eligible fish: brown trout – 20%, grayling – 80%. Associated fish (in summer ascending from the reservoir) – bleak (Alburnus alburnus), perch and roach. During the rainy period the water level may rise considerably, while the water may become turbid. The sector is from the mouth of the River Wetlinka to the village Terka. The practice waters are located immediately above and below the sector.
Aquatic vegetation is rather scarce.

saninleskoSector III – River San – Lesko.
Average width of the river – 120 m., depth – 0.5 m, water volume flow – 22,4 m3/sec. (low volume is ca. 8.0 m3/sec).
The water current is medium or slow.
Eligible fish: brown trout – 30%, grayling – 70%,
huchen < 1%.
Associated species: chub, dace and ide.
The sector is from the village Hoczew and the mouth of Hoczewka river to the village Huzele.
The practice waters are located below the sector.
Aquatic vegetation flourishes abundantly in many parts of the river, but doesn’t hinder fly fishing.

saninlukawicaSector IV – River San – Postołσw.
Average width of the river – 120 m., depth – 0.5 m, water volume flow – 23,0 m3/sec. (low volume is ca. 8.0 m3/sec).
The water current is medium or slow.
Eligible fish: brown trout – 30%, grayling – 70%,
huchen < 1%.
Associated species: chub, dace and ide.
The sector is from the village Postołσw to the village Manasterzec.
The practice waters are located below the sector.
Aquatic vegetation flourishes abundantly in many parts of the river, but doesn’t hinder fly fishing.

saninzwierzynSector V – River San Zwierzyń.
Average width of the river – 80 m., depth – 0.6 m, volume – 20,4 m3/sek. (low volume is ca. 8.0 m3/sec). The water current is medium or slow. Eligible fish: brown trout – 50%, grayling – 50%, huchen < 1%. Associated species: chub, and dace.
The competition sector is from the bridge at the power station in Zwierzyń to the ford in the village Bachlawa.
The practice water is located immediately below the sector.
This is a year-round No-Kill water.
Aquatic vegetation flourishes abundantly in many parts of the river, but doesn’t hinder fly fishing.

hoczewkaReserve Sector  – River Hoczewka.
Average width of the river – 15 m, depth – 0.5 m, water volume flow – 1,4 m3/sec. (low volume is ca. 8.0 m3/sec). The water current is medium or slow. Eligible fish: brown trout – 50%, grayling – 50%, huchen (Hucho hucho) < 1%. Associated species: chub (Leuciscus cephalus), dace (Leuciscus leuciscus) and ide (Leuciscus idus). The sector is from the Baligrσd to the Hoczew. The practice waters are located immediately above the sector. Aquatic vegetation flourishes abundantly in many parts of the river, but doesn’t hinder fly fishing.

saninzagorzReserve Sector  – River San – Sanok.
Average width of the river – 100 m, depth – 0.8 m, water volume flow – 30,0 m3/sec. (low volume is ca. 11.0 m3/sec). The water current is medium or slow. Eligible fish: brown trout – 20%, grayling – 80%, huchen (Hucho hucho) < 1%. Associated species: chub (Leuciscus cephalus), dace (Leuciscus leuciscus) and ide (Leuciscus idus). The sector is from  Zagσrz to the Sanok. The practice waters are located immediately above and below the sector. Aquatic vegetation flourishes abundantly in many parts of the river, but doesn’t hinder fly fishing.

Fishing rules

   1. All waters, except the special section on the River San from Zwierzyń to the mouth of the River Hoczewka:

–        size limits: grayling – 35 cm, brown trout – 30 cm, huchen – 70 cm,
–        bag: grayling and brown trout – 3 fish per day together, huchen –  1 fish per week; no more than 9 fish per month altogether.
–        barbless hooks
–        no strike indicators nor split shots

   1. Special section on the River San from Zwierzyń to the mouth of the River Hoczewka – a year-round No-Kill water, other rules as above + landing nets mandatory.

Official practice sessions and the competition will be conducted on a No-Kill basis.
