Wes, I'd say for fishing one of teams first mini comps, the team did pretty well. To have someone finish 4th against that level of comp should bring you all some confidence. Good job guys.

Hey Ryan, it was an eye opener wasn't it? I remember judging the SE regional and the Nationals before fishing my first comp and I thought, wow these guys are so efficient with their casts and drifts, I really need to get better at this. I also realized though, that I read the water correctly. You'll be surprised at how much better you'll get within the first year and how much more confidence you'll gain. Don't get me wrong, I still have a LOT more to learn, but I do know what I do well, I do have a better idea on how to fish my beat, and I know what to practice on. Good luck guys.
