Featured Angler-Bill Strickland

Im going to start doing a featured angler every so often so that you can get to know our guys a little better.  First up is Bill Strickland.  Bill is a big old Yeti but he can fish his ass off.  He logs as much time on the water as anybody in the game and has some serious skills.  Fishing the famous or infamous Davidson River doesnt hurt either.  Bill is always in the game.....I expect him to have a banner year on the scene next year.

Bio:

Bill grew up in the foothills of North Georgia chasing Bass along the shores of Lake Lanier. While attending Appalachian State University, Bill sank his teeth in the world of fly fishing and has never looked back. After graduation, he packed up and headed North to Alaska working and guiding on the legendary Upper Kenai River where he fished for world record Salmo...n and wild Rainbow Trout that measure in pounds rather than inches.

Currently, Bill is a full time Professional Fishing Guide for Davidson River Outfitters and spends more than 230 days a year guiding for Trout and Smallmouth Bass. While the mighty Davidson River is his anchor river, you can find Bill guiding on most of the major rivers in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Bill's fishing addiction has taken him up and down the Rocky MTN's, throughout the Patagonia Region of Argentina, the flats of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, and down the Florida Keys.
