The team had a practice on the South Holston this weekend. Fishing long degreased leaders with tiny size 24 black flies was key. Risers were everywhere but they were picky. We worked on a ton of stuff. For the full deal check out our website under news, and our facebook.

Nice report Paul. Looks like you guys got some good team building done. What hooks are you guys using for that small of flies anyway?

The real small sizes were tied on TMC 2488.
The other midges were tied short on TMC 2499.

For midges this winter, I also discovered the Tiemco TMC 2487BL in a size 20. It is a great little hook, super sticky and barbless right out of the box.
