Thanks to Dejon for this co op. And the space on his sight. I think this is going to make any comp angler better and let teams help one another. Your only as good as your compitition so it helps all.
Please let me know if I and or team NC can help with the co op southern practice. Im really looking forward to meeting some fellow comp guys.

We are currently working on our team agenda for 2010. As soon as we have firm details we'll get'm posted up.

You're most welcome AND thank you for all your support.  I might do the background work, but I consider this "our" site.

Keeping the "TeamNC" board active and filled with current agendas, comp. details, and just what you guys are doing down there as far as practice ideas, etc etc is clutch!

That talk about european pubs having fly fishing teams makes me want to move to Europe! I'd like to host a fly fishing event someday where everyone is required to drink at least 8 beers before fishing their beat.

Are you saying this isn't how you currently hold competitions?  We must be doing something wrong up here.  Haven't you been following Article 42:

ARTICLE 42: USE OF SOBRIETY
42.1. No Angler may be sober at any time during an offiical Fips-Mouche competition.  Furthermore, Controllers will randomly conduct sobriety checks with breathalyzers to insure a blood alocohol content of .1 at all times.  If any angler is seen carrying on coherent conversations or walking in straight lines they will be immediately disqualified.
(a) Competition standard flasks will be tethered to a 30cm pieceo of florescent monofilament and visible at all times.
(b) If a Breathalyzer is not available a controller may use a standard issue trout stomach pump.

That could lead to competitive drunken wading.  The controllers will be surprised if you can tie a triple surgeons knot in under 15 minutes.

I love article 42! If I can find one of those hard hats with the beer holders on the sides don't think you won't see me wearing it on the stream. You just have to be careful not to cross that thresh hold were you've had too much to drink. That can make wading very dangerous. I had a nasty fall in the little t this year and I thought it was all cool until I saw the group of latino fellas pointing at me laughing.
