I wanted to formally recognize my teammate Chris Smith for all he's done for the SE Circuit over the last few years. Chris was instrumental in getting the Trout Legend Co-Op formed, has planned and coordinated several mini-comps, was a big part of making the National Championships successful, and.... is a damn fine fisherman. Glad to call you teammate Smitty! Big ups!

At the risk of sounding cliche...it takes a village.

Without Dejon, the coop idea would still be that...an idea. Josh, then Team NC, laid the foundation for the mini-comp as a viable vehicle for practice and competition. Paul got the National Championship here and a great coordinating committee, including Matt Pegg, made it happen. Great teammates on Stonefly....I could go on and on.

I'm simply lucky to be surrounded by so many talented advocates for the sport!

Ill throw my two cents in as well. Chris you have been instrumental in all of the above as well as a pivotal force in helping me get the direction needed for Team Dead Drift. Dejon, Paul, and Chris really helped with any questions I had when starting the team and our success is your success!

Kudos to Smitty. Great job on the organization of the last comp. Had a great time. Also want to throw out thanks to both Team Stonefly and Team NC for all their assistance and advice for Team Dead Drift. From advice to team structure, practices and techniques, they are always there to lend a hand. Thanks guys.
