If all goes well, we'll hold another next month or perhaps in April.  Might as well fish the D until the water warms up, then shift over to the Nanty.

Hope you can make it then.

So are you guys putting on another mini comp for those who don't make the fishing at the Pisgah Masters? If so what what the cost and can anyone attend?

This is my first post on this board, been hanging out for awhile thought. I'm on the NC Fly Fishing Team.

Just curious,
Seth

Hey Seth.

We're going to hold a mini-comp for the guys who don't make it to day two of the Pisgah.  Hopefully I won't be available to run it!

I have all the beats layed out, along with angler assignments, rotations, etc.  Once anglers draw their number from a hat, it should run itself.

Fishing will be Sunday, and any of the Team NC guys are invited.  We have enough beats to handle 16 total anglers.

If I don't talk to you on Saturday, plan on meeting at 8 am at Coon Tree.

One bit of clarification...we'll be fishing the waters above the hatchery supported section....between Avery Creek and Looking Glass.  This water is catch and release all year long, and fished tough last month.

Hey Mark.

For April we're gearing up for the Olympiad Fly Masters.  It's set for April 24th and 25th in Lake Lure, and you can find details on our website,  http://www.teamstonefly.com .

If you decide to come down, let me know.

Interesting it might be worth a shot.  I will have to think about it.
