Team Stonefly has organized a mini-comp for Saturday, December the 18th. Nicknamed the "Winter Stonefly Classic", the event will take place on the Davidson River near Brevard, NC.

Mini-comps are superb opportunities for anglers to practice FIPS rules and regulations in a competitive but cooperative environment. Participating anglers have the opportunity to fish two 1 1/2 hour sessions (one am, one pm), as well as judge and observe fellow competitors for two 1 1/2 hour sessions.

Should ten or more anglers compete, the top 30% will be eligible for points towards the TroutLegend CFFC Leaderboard.

All 16 slots have been filled. That being said, there are always unexpected cancellations.

We'll add interested parties to the waitlist from this point forward.

I'm having to flip flop days off because of the kids being out of school with snow days. I won't be able to make it now. Sorry about that I really wanted to fish it. Maybe someone else can go instead.
