Michael L. Yelton, born and raised in Rutherford County, is the owner and operator of The Granddaddy Fly-Fishing Experience, LLC (established 2005) and has been a avid fisherman since childhood. He is an avid competition angler and has placed well in both trout and bass tournaments (with the fly rod) in the Southeast. We welcome and value Michael as our newest team member!

Nice work guys. Looks like a solid addition.

Now let me ask seriously - where do you find all these thoroughbreds (ok, maybe not the best term, but I wasn't going to use studs)?  Have competitive fly fishing bars started to pop up in the south or something?

That would make for some interesting "pick-up" lines.  I'll let imaginations run here.

Short and sweet...we've met and formed friendships with these guys at prior events and tournaments.

The best advice I could therefore give would be to start a tournament or two in the area.  Much like in the business world, it's all about networking, and tournaments are the places you're most likely to find others interested in competing!
