Here's a question I asked a buddy of mine last night related to these fly boxes...
"Do you think these anglers have multiples of a particular pattern because it's the most productive, or is it the patterns with only one or two flies present that they fish the most (the others having been lost, in their chest pack tray for quick access, etc)?"

That's a good question Chris. I'm always trying to discern what flies they do and don't regularly use. When looking at some of these boxes it's really hard for me to conceptualize how they effectively fish so many different patterns. I think it's more a case of "having fun at the bench" or experimentation sake. The box you've listed looks manageable though - basically 2 patterns on that one palate in various color combos - very useful.
