I just want to send a BIG thank you to all that competed in the second annual Clarion Classic. And and even BIGGER thank you to all that supported those competitors, the competition, and more importantly "comp" style fishing in this region of the world. Comp fly fishing in the North East is not only alive but kicking amazing goals and the energy around this small competition is proof positive.

Congratulations to Aston Boone of the US Youth Fly Fishing Team on his first place finish. Aston capitalized on a strong first session and ended up netting a 1/3 of the fish for the entire field. not familiar with the scoring at all , what does the first number represent , and what does the second number represent ?

To the left of the name... placing point, then fish points.

It's a complicated but interesting system

did anybody hook any of the big paliminos ? the one in the riffle below the flat water below the damn ? or the one in the hole above where the cable goes across the creek ? he usually sits hugging the far bank below the pine tree ....lol ok i better quit ...lol

I know the fish and neither of them were where they usually are. My guess is they were poached.

ya know mark , funny u should say that because i always thought most of the fish in that stream end up on a stringer , how do u guys decide who fishes what section of stream ?
