I'd like to send a big congrats out to all the new members of Team USA. There was a very large roll over this year with 7 new faces on the 15 man team. Refreshing to see all the new blood in the mix and the direction the team USA organization is taking.

And as if you didn't see this coming I'd like to send an extra plug out to our TroutLegend team member Pat Weiss who just won a spot on team USA. Pat is one of those "naturally fishy" guys who invariably always finds a way to catch fish despite the conditions or his beat draw. A true competitor who I predict, with a few minor refinements, will be on a World Squad in the not too distant future!

Congrats Pat, Randy, and the others whom I got to actually meet and talk with. Everyone seemed like a class act and are well deserving of their spots.

Awesome job! I had the opportunity to fish with Pat the entire comp., and the guy definately knows his stuff. Was good to meet Mark as well, both really good guys. Look forward to fishing with you guys again in the future. Next time, I'll bring the beers....

Dont know how I missed this thread before, but Thanks all, it was a big learning experience. It was also alot of fun, because of both the fishing and the people, and it resparked the flame of an old relationship........ Me and Pabst!
