We're just over 3 weeks out and we only have 8 confirmed competitors. If we don't make the leader board minimum 10 in about 1 week I'll postpone the event to allow the current field to amend their calendars. If anyone who is currently confirmed may not attend please let me know. Thanx!

should be interesting. just mapquested it, just over 5 hours each way. 291 miles. If I didn't get like 12mpg I wouldve thought about it.

I need something more, I don't know...eco friendly...on my wallet.

where you from Daniel? Anywhere in PA I would be willing to do a car pool....I'm in the state college area so its only 4 hours for me. If you are in PA and want to fish the comp let me know....we can carpool for sure dude!

I hear ya on the gas prices man. Really starting to make me think twice on all my longer range fishing trips... and I hate when that happens. Been thinking I might have to get a motorcycle again!

Yea Dejon, I second what Bob said. Sorry the event got canceled and wished it was closer. I won't speak for Team Dead Drift, but I know some of the guys on the team are looking to get into some of these comps to gain some more experience and fine tune our techniques. I'll be watching for the reschedule.

I'll bet that a big comp could be held around there, like a Qualifier. I'd most definitely come up for that. With streams like the Coys, the upper Catt (or lower

) Clear, Elton, Lime Lake Outlet and Lakes like Harwood, Case, Quaker and Redhouse you could build a good argument to have a big one there.
