Want to get some feed back befoer I submit for the permit. I am looking at holding a two day event, one day practice one day comp. At lackawanna state park on their 198 acre lake. BEcause the boats they have for rent are not available till Memorial Day. The first dates I have available are June 9th and 10th. Please give me some feedback on how many would attend. Once I see some of the feedback. I will get it set up.

I would be interested. What kind of boats do they have? wish we could get boats out on Upper Woods.

Mark they are standard aluminum row boats also guys there is room for a bank style comp, if we want to do it earlier when obviously weather and water temp aren't a big issue. Let me know.

I would much rather prefer the boat option... especially for the lake being as long as it is.

Loren the only reason I was planning it was for you to come back to PA...LOL. I am working out some details. Let me know what dates work for better. If we do a bank comp, we can fish as early as late april. If by boat early june.

Alright everyone I am calling the Fish And Boat Commission today to get the permits. I will be posting this evening all the details for the Comp.

OK everyone give me till tomorrow I am trying to work something out with the park, to see if we can have the boats made available to us before they actually are out for memorial day. However the cap on this competition is 18 people. The date if it works out will be late april early may. If not then we have to go to June to use the boats. Or make it a bank comp. Lets get some quick feedback before I hear form the Park tomorrow.
