Introducing the TroutLegend Store; an effort to bring high quality competitive fly fishing gear to this community at competitive prices. Our first mission is to offer a full line of competition grade hooks at pricing that doesn't break the bank.

As you'll notice the selection will be limited to begin. This is because we're only seeking out unique products that we can offer at great prices... not always easy to find. Look for a full size lineup of competition grade Streamer, Czech, and Nymph hooks in the next few months.

Other products we're working on are "Competition Starter Kits" (troughs, scoresheets, etc), and hand tied competition fly boxes.

Just updated the pictures of the 2 hooks we're carrying currently:

TL200, sizes 10,16

TL400, sizes 12, 18

Great consistency through the lots. Black finish, offset cat like point!

They are from an overseas distributor of japenese manufacturing.

Yes, shipping will be USPS in the beginning then I'll offer other options as we get rolling.

Do you plan on getting any tying materials? It would be nice to have a place to get some of those materials that we don't get here in the US.

Bob, we're considering carrying some hard to get fly tying materials. Mostly looking to see how the hooks move before we branch out.

Aaron, sorry, I'm confused. We're using USPS - is that your preference?

Still working out the kinks so any recommendations are appreciated.

Update. I've had some questions about current shipping on these hooks.

I've changed the flat shipping rates as follows:

$3.95 Canada/HI/AK
$2.95 Continental US

Look interesting. I'll have to invest in some to try out.

Is the TL 200 a XS or standard shank? How extra heavy is it as well? I like the black finish and the offset point.

I would say the smaller hooks (16/18) are standard and the larger hooks (10/12) are conservatively 2Xstrong.

Just fyi, this batch (roughly 4k hooks) is starting to move quickly now. If you're thinking about getting in on some of these you might want to do it soon.

Just Got my order of 400 hooks in and I am very pleased. They have an excellent long sharp point with a perfect curve. I hit the vice tonight and love how the flies look. Thanks Dejon for a great hook at a great price. Cant wait to see how they hold fish.

Got my hooks in the mail today. Great work gentleman. They are sticky sharp. I really like the 200 16's alot. Those will be a killer around here. Keep up stock and the good work.
