I have been using the sniper sun line for my wet fly droppers for about three years. The sniper is hard and stands away from the line for droppers. I much prefer Halo P line for nymphing . I think it is much softer  and I think I get a better presentation . This spring I have ordered  6# and 4# but I can not find 2# which is 6X. Anybody have a supplier?.
I have not tried the other brands mentioned (abrazx/invisx line ) But for my steelhead fishing in the fall when their hot I like Grand Max.

                                                                      Best

I have been using Seaguar Abrasx 6lb for all my lake-run nymphing this season. I really like it, and I am confident that the line will hold when I really need to put the screws to a fish to turn it. Last weekend I had a steelie run my tippet across some rocks and I was sure the line would break, but it held and I landed her. The leader was no worse for the wear either. I checked it and continued using it. At 10 cents a yard, I'm sticking with it.

I actually like the stiffness. I find I get far less leader tangles when fishing single and multiple droppers. Suppleness might be good for presentation, but in a comp time lost for retying leaders is a killer.

Just my 2 centavos,

Aaron

I agree with Aaron's sentiment here.  A nice soft/supple tippet is cool when you have all day, but can be time consuming in a wham-bam-competition setting.

But that's just my 2 shekels.
