The Quebec Provincials are over for this year, we as a team did well! Philipp short pulls a individual gold Jim Iredale a Bronze with team gold going to them. Mergansers "A" Graham Murfitt and Mark Anderson took bronze in team and Mergansers "B" Ivo and my self took silver, and I took individual Silver. This is the second big podium finish for the Mergansers with a team Bronze coming early on in the season at Trojan. We fished in a flooded river with zero weight on our flies, Lake long we as a team kick some ASS, but one fish got caught on Vinet for everyone and that was the kid!! A special thanks goes to Ivo for being so supportive and helping become the angler I am today. Things I learned was have fun, fish to the very last second on the clock and mental game is important.

Proud of the Mergansers! Being the West Coast representative anyways! Nicely done guys! Wish I could have been there.

Great to hear Phillip doing well too.

Congratulations Jeremiah!!! How many individuals competed at this year's competition? I hope the event is growing and the word has been spread, as we need more fly fishers coming out for this sort of an event. Any photos that you'd be willing to share?

Based on what you guys described, there was some tough fishing witht he flooding and the un-weighted flies. And the results show how important it was to avoid a blank in such thin conditions.

Looks like a great event to consider attending!
