Anyone have these? Considering them as a backup, but need some now as my Simms are leaking (again) so I'm gonna send them to Simms and hope they can fix em. They're about 5-6 years old, so they may just be worn out. I know they sure smell like it.

I don't have them, but I was very tempted to get them at the Somerset Fly Fishing show yesterday. Redington had a deal where they were all 30% off no matter what booth/shop you bought them from. If the show is coming close to you it may be worth checking out.

Highly recommended as a backup. For the price you get an excellent product. I thought I'd move into them as my main waders, but found I missed the articulation and fit of my simms too much.

Hey D, how much different is the fit? Read something about the seams where the 5 layer meets the 3 layer being an issue?

General fit is close enough for a good backup pair. Socks were just big enough without really bulking up 2/3 pair socks, but i usually wear the Simms Large 12-13 (all though I think I need to come to grips that I need a LK).

You can get the simms freestone waders at Flyshack for 149.00 great back up pair IMO . I hear the same comments from others as djon that the reddingtons are not well porportioned at all espicially in the feet. good luck
