Rod rack suggestions?

I've been searching for a quality rod/gear rack, haven't found one yet that says "yeah, that's the one".  The closest one I've found is this one from Orvis, but a little high $, and not quite it.......

So, here's what I'm looking for...need space for up to 12 rod tubes, maybe of couple of drawers for reels, fly boxes, etc (not as many as the Orvis, and thinking drawers on bottom), and wanting some way to hang vests, packs, nets, etc (thinking on the sides), and keep the design clean and simple.

I have access to some really nice wood (leaning towards heart pine), and have a friend that's a cabinet builder with all the necessary tools and equipment, and who is also willing to help me build it.

So, anyone have any suggestions on design?  One you built yourself?  A website that may help?  Anything?

If I can find the right design and build what I've got in mind, I'm hoping to be able to build a few, keep the costs down, and maybe be able to offer some for sale, because I'm sure there's a few others like me who've got a stack of rod tubes just piled up in a corner somewhere...
