i can't be certain but i think Lance did a review on the rod it may be in flyfisherman.com not sure maybe he will chime in here

I have searched high and low for reviews on this rod...

No luck yet so I went ahead and bought one. I bought the 5 weight to navigate the bigger rivers and high alpine lakes that it will experience. I have a rather large Konic 3.5 reel on it as my lighter Nautilus reel was too light and left the combination feeling very tip heavy. The #6 Bank Robber is my favorite rod so I took a chance on this one. Will report back after fishing it a bit.

Wasn't that review in the 2012 gear guide for flyfisherman? I have it at home and will check in an hour or so.
