Boot Chains

              With the discussions about felt soles verses various rubber soles on the market. Is their any opinions on Boot chains ,and how effective are they, any preferred brands ?. Sometimes if I'm going to fish a short time, I will use boot foot waders which do not come with studs.I was looking at these.

Korkers makes a similar product as well and I'd also be interested in hearing from any who might have tried this type of product.

Chris Reid has a pair of strap over korker cleats on his simms boot foots - not sure which model.  The traction he gets vs my in-shoe cleats is hardly comparable.  Long sloping snowy/icy paths to the stream and he's plodding along normally while I look like I'm trying to shuffle down a luge track.
