Hi,
Anyone have any good campground suggestions for somewhere within 5 hours of Hershey Pa, that sits right on good fly fishing water. I would prefer river/stream references, but I'll also take any good lake destinations. I'm not to good at lake fishing. Two I do know of is the Farmington and I guess there is one on the Little J but don't have the info. Also know of Poe Paddy on Penns. I'd like to try out some new campgrounds in the future. I don't have much time to camp right now, but I will in the future.

That christian campground on the Little J is awesome.  Right on the river and some good water too.  Can't remember the info, but I'm sure you can find it with a little search.

I know there are some primitive sites in the national forest along the Clarion.

Now were cooking! I know camping on the Savage River also, I guess that isn't good fishing right now because of the dam work. Anyone know when the timeline it will be done/

Hey john. If your looking for a camp site that is in a decent location, I have been to petti coat junction. Its located on big pine creek. We just used it as a base camp. Its located right near Slate run, Cedar run, And the kettle Creek Watershed. Big Pine in that area is pretty but more of a put and take slime rocket stream.
