I debated to put this in the nymphing section or not, Dejon if you want to swap it feel free.

I ordered the European Nymphing with Vladi and I have not made it through the whole DVD yet but with most of the content on this site revolving around Comp Angling I thought I would throw this out there.

DVD starts out with a good intro, and then goes in to some of the history. It covers all the main concepts with Czech, Polish, French, and Spanish. Also Vladi does step-by-step fly tying.

Very good buy IMO! Hope you enjoy.

My favorite quote from the DVD: (with thick polish accent) "Where are all de fish?"

I like the tying outtakes with the french guys too. Not a bad primer for those uninitiated with some of these techniques.

I enjoyed the history of comp angling that was covered and the tying outtakes best!

jack dennis seemed a little abrasive with some of those guys in the tying section.

Oh definitely! He's the prototypical loud mouthed American ordering the natives around

I wish the whole disc set were just that though - jack dennis annoying the french fishing team following them in and out of streams, tying benches, etc.

LOL i am glad i am not the only one that thought he seemed a little brash! Good video but the editing was piss poor and I with there was more instruction with the Knots Vladi was using.

I mean I 100 % support our us fly fishing team but it just seemed unfair for jack to act like that to those guys who 1st off beat the us team and 2nd off has won more medals than anybody ever. Knowing some of the team guys also a little modesty wouldnt hurt.
