I have read my share of fly-fishing books. Hands down the best one I've come across is Joe Humphreys's Trout Tactics. I learned as much or more in that one as the other 30+ combined that I've read. My only critique would be that the streamer fishing is lacking in comparison to the other methods - reason being is that he says he likes this method the least out of all of them so therefore did not have as much info to disperse.

You got it man. I also have his On the Stream with Joe Humphreys book that I am done reading as well. I'll bring them over when I have my fly tying class with you.

Great books!! I had the good fortune of taking a fly tying class with Joe and getting my copy of Trout Tactics signed. He is a great teacher and those books are very good. His Videos are also great resources.
