Do you mean local? I don't know local but I'm pretty sure Wapsi carries all those products.

Try this stuff if you want barred.  Spirit River makes it.

Montana Fly's Centipede legs are what you want.  They are widely available in various sizes and colors.

If you're looking for flat, not round rubber the life flex material by hareline is my choice.  There is a difference between the flat and round rubber, they behave a little differently when wet.  The flat will also tie in flatter than the round for obvious reasons

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Funny.  Yeah Wapsi carries  Spanflex but it's not barred or mottled.  Super Floss isn't either.  The Orvis stuff is all but one backordered.  It appears to be the exact same stuff as MFC Speckled Sexi Floss which is cool but only comes in one size and I like to use smaller ones for smaller patterns.  The Centipede Legs from MFC are rubber.  I've used them before but they aren't really what I'm looking for.

I love the durability of the Spanflex stuff as opposed to rubber.  Have been using Spanflex with good success and I like the choice of sizes.  Just wish I could find it mottled, speckled or barred because that would catch A LOT more trout (joking).  It's funny how we get hung up on a single aspect of a fly.  I know it probably doesn't make a difference, but that doesn't mean I don't want it.

If I've missed something and I could get non-rubber legs, mottled with choice of sizes I'm all ears.

Enjoy the day.

Sili Legs....they are real similar to Spanflex. There slim and flat. Plus they come in all kinds of mottled, speckled and barred colors and patterns. Plus, Sili Legs comes in different sizes so you can use them on smaller nymph patterns.  The Nymph size is the smallest and is ideal for flies size 12 and smaller.

I use sili legs for mine. Pretty cool, but I haven't ever used anything else to compare it to.

I have flexi floss... But I don't use it for legs, I make a base of thread and super glue it and  wrap the flexi for a body. Fast and gives it a slim profile that I like on some nymphs.

Sili-legs can be a bit stiff for stillwater patterns, but otherwise they're great.

A word to the wise regarding Spanflex... the stuff degrades over time and this is accelerated when the product is exposed to sunlight. Superfloss will last a lot longer and doesn't breakdown to the same degree (it is however less translucent than Spanflex).
