Walking the walk

I have to tell you all what I did today.  There's a foundry here in Pburg that manufactures large pipe.  Several managers of this foundry have been convicted and sentenced tofor violating both safety and environmental laws. Anyway, the pipe gets shipped by truck along my creek.  Each of these pipes has a large sticker on it with the company's name emblazened upon it.  Well, the glue on the stickers must be poor because they are laying everywhere along the creek.  Today was the final straw.  I picked up a bunch of them and went to the foundry and delivered them to the receptionist.  She called a manager and when hr came I told him that unless they do something about all the litter I was going to start mailing the the stickers to the EPA.  He started apologizing and promised to remedy the situation.  Time will tell, I'll keep you all informed.

I would like to applaud both your conservation efforts and more importantly your follow through...If more anglers took this approach and held those accountable for their actions I think that we all would enjoy a much more pristine environment.
