In Mark's defense I didn't interpret the rules of the competition to forbid the use of search engines. I think quite clearly in the second section of the statement he merely poses the query: ""what is it" without stating any rules pertaining to the mode of research.   I mean classically, yes, one doesn't use a search engine in this type of competition.  But let's be honest, some competitors around the world are.  And Mark's biggest mistake was admitting his source really.
