Hello everyone. I just finished competing in the BC Loch Style Championship and was blown away at how much fun it was. I have always loved fly fishing but when you make it a team competition it definitely ramps it up a few notches. I am looking forward to spending some time on this site and maybe competing in a few other competitions (besides next years championship of course).

Hi David! Nice to see you've signed onto the forum. There's a wealth of information here and a great group of people.

It was great to have had the chance to fish the last session of the B.C. Loch-Style Fly Fishing Championship with you! I hope you enjoyed a little insight into competitive fly fishing and will be back again next year...

Welcome aboard. There's a ton of info on here and a great place to get quick answers to questions.

It was definitely a great competition, and I'm glad you've caught the bug. So many guys I know just shut down when I tell them about comp fishing. It's definitely one of those "try it, you'll like it" kind of things.

I wish I had fished in an earlier session with you Todd. I learned something from all sessions but the most valuable ones from yours. My team will definitely be back next year. I can't wait.
