Just wanted to say hello as a new member here. I fish Penns Creek, Big Fishing Creek, and Spring Creek mostly. Been fishing my whole life but decided to take the fly fishing plunge a few years ago and it is a wild addiction. I basically have fly fishing on my mind 24/7. I try to learn as much as possible from books, internet, and fellow anglers as I feel that this sport can never be mastered. I nymph 99% of the time and tie all my own flies. I just started tying about a year ago but have tied hundreds since and continue to get better and always looking for new patterns to try. I hope to learn as much as possible here and also contribute what I can. Feel free to ask about the condition of Penns as I live about 20 mins from the lower section and fish it as much as possible.

Welcome to the forum Lee it was a great weekend to be out enjoying Penns this past weeekend. Did you get a chance to hit the water?

Thanks Mark! Yeah, it was beautiful. I got out for a few hours Saturday. Can't beat that kind of weather for January!

Welcome to the forum Lee. We were up at Coburn running a comp Saturday. Conditions were great and the water chilly.

Thanks Dejon! Conditions were great and the water was a brisk 40° where I was between Weikert and the catch and release section. Couldn't really ask for nicer weather this time of year though!
