Hi, I'm Robbie.

Living in Kilkenny City, Ireland. Local rivers would be the river Nore & Suir.

Only returned to the hobby last year. Looking forward to 2012 river and lake competitions...

I was chatting with a friend today about a trip to Ireland she lives in Oranmore near Galway, I am planning a training trip to England and since its cheap to fly to Ireland, I might jump over there for a day or two.

Thanks, it was a cracking fish, caught on a Di7 and a chartreuse booby..close to the bottom of the lake (18ft deep).. It won me that competition that day..

Hi Jeremiah,

I lived in Oranmore for 2 years (small world), I worked in a hospital that was close by. I fished some of the small rivers up there... If you are visiting the only place to go is Lough Corrib, it's suppose to be magic..

Welcome Robbie. My parents just returned from a trip to Ireland and my dad brought me back some flies he picked up at a shop called Rory (or something like that).
