Hi everyone, My name is Dennis Cluck and I live in Harpursville NY which is conviently located just 25 minutes from the West Branch of the Delaware and hop skip and a jump to the rest of the catskill waters. I am a Phys. Ed teacher, coach lacrosse and basketball and recently started guiding this past year, which was a really great experience. My introduction to competive angling was back a few year's while taking a nymphing class with George Daniels. I thought I was a pretty good angler when I took the class but after seeing George fish I quickly realized that I had just met the Yoda of fly fishing and I was a mere Patawan. Hearing George's tales of competition and learning of his tactics ,fly selection and presentation strategies were a revelation to me. I love the continuous learning process that fly fishing offers and your site impressed me with your willingness to help others become better anglers (Thank You!). Hopefully I can offer some meager fare to the collective body of knowledge here at Trout Legend.
