Ted's Introduction
« on: August 27, 2010, 12:16:21 AM »
Hello to all at Trout Legend, I am Ted from Connecticut. I learned how to flyfish as a kid on he Housatonic, farmington, and Croton Rivers of Ct and NY. I discovered this site while researching the Delaware. I really want to expand my experience and get to know the Delaware since I have heard so many good things about it. I go in and out of Dry and Nymph fazes but mostly DryFly lately.  My favorite hatch are tricos and te various Olive Types. I am also a huge fan of bank feeders w ants and beatles. I am not a big tier as most of my cabin fever time is spent drawing trout art w felt tip pens. I have posted some of it in the gallery. When I am not fishing in Ct I make road trips down to Pennsylvania to fish small springs. Last weekend I spent two days on falling Spring branch, I have nice pics which I will post another time. I really love this sport as it has added alot of good times and good friends to my life. My fishing buddies and my Mom call me Teddy, My boss calls me Ted, and the kids I work with call me "coach." I look forward to discovering the Delaware and am going to spend four days there the weekend of Sept 10 and will be camping and checking out some music at the "Catskill Chill" Music festival so maybe I'll meet a few of you then. What I like about this site is that it seems to be more about learning and promoting the sport and less about chest thumping and bragging which is what I have noticed in other sites. Seems like a humble bunch of guys just digging the sport and helping each other improve.

Welcome to the board Ted.  I grew up fishing the upper deleware system and try to get back every chance I get.  All though central PA has been sidetracking me a lot lately :)
