Hey everybody, figured I better say hey after signing up.

I really enjoy competitive fly fishing and am glad to find this venue and forum. I stay on the fringe as my schedule has not allowed for it but it looks like this may be my year to travel a bit and compete a little more outside of the Colorado area.

Recently I have been doing fly fishing videography and it has really been good at getting me some extra time in this arena. I was filming in the area of the America cup and stopped and watched Anthony and a few others fish the Rado from my truck. Anthony was my dentist here in Grand Junction and I actually met him at one of the Fly Fishing Masters. I would have filmed a bit of the tourney but was in a hurry to get back to town.

I have fished a lot of little tournaments around and was a finalist at the Masters (barely beat by one fish by Frank and Giff), Silver medal at Teva 2008 and Gunnison Superfly top rod 2008. I am anxious to try competition with the Fips format.

If any of you are ever in this area or if you know anyone in the Grand Junction area that is looking to fish let me know.

Hey there Cody, glad to have ya. Saw you're from Junction so I had to say hello. I lived out in Moab years ago, and was lucky enough to be able to fish a good bit out there...up in the LaSals, over to the Eagle, all over SW CO and down to the San Juan, so seeing your post brought back some good memories. Still have friends out there, so who knows, might give you a buzz if I get back out there sometime.
