I have not been out this year but I am curious as to how the season is going. Does anyone have any good pics or stories to share from this years run.

We just hit a deep freeze/snow here. Might be iceup soon. I thought it would never come.

Mark , i fished erie a few times and did well . Only once was the water gin clear which is ideal for keeping people away

I made it up to oak orchard once this year but thought i would be a smarty pants and catch the browns early before the crowds but missed it by 1 high water event that occured a week after i left . Did catch some monster kings though and wasn't real crowded during the transition between full swing king and start of browns. New years day i fished erie and there was 1 other guy on the the whole section of stream i couldn't believe it. Been hearing of a few browns in erie but nothing major yet.

I havent been out for steelies but Dejon and Bill taking me to Talleyrand in Belfont was pretty damn close. !!! LOL !!!

Did you say 6x ? wow D you might want to claim responsibility for that one , were you using 6x also D. is the water pretty slow in that area ?

Hey Jim, I was was the only idiot using 6x there. I had never been there thus thought it was just another part of spring creek. After my pig and seeing Dejon and Bill yanking fish after fish in the mid 20's i quickly clipped off the 6x.
