Dropper flies.
« on: August 06, 2010, 05:47:26 PM »
I have quick question. I haven't had much success with my dropper fly, and I'm going fishing tomorrow. So what patterns have you been having success with?

Where are you fishing?  What kind of rig/flies have you been throwing?

Do you cycle through sizes?

Throw some HE and zebra midge in there.  Have you fished a WaltsWorm?

Start with a 10 frenchie, try a 14, then a 18.  Then same with HE.

More specific info on the streams you fish and i'm sure we could zero you in.

Usually it's not the fly but the presentation.
