I'm using shitty cyberlink power director.  Doesn't have that feature.   Do you think it would take away from the overall quality if I did something like that?

I'm gonna have to look into it.

Oh yeah. It's HD, eh?  I guess you need to get a cheap editor that can handle HD.  Maybe one of the Vegas : http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/vegassoftware .  I need to do the same actually someday soon.

Thanks Chris for posting the Baboon Jig. I tied up a few last night in different weights. I had a very good morning on the Delaware fishing the jig as a searching pattern as you suggested. I drifted the jig deep into these rocks.

I gave the rod a twitch when I thought my nymphs were in the right position and  I landed four Rainbows all about this size .

Bill,

That's awesome!  I'm glad you had success with them, they are a great searcher pattern.
Is that the Hardy Marksmen in the photo? What a great rod.  Nick has one, it's one of the best rods I've used for these techniques.   I heard they put more water in the D over the weekend.  Sounds like the fishing is still doing good.

I haven't been able to get out much lately due to the new baby and work.  It's good to hear that my flies are producing for people (even if it's not me!).

I saw that video, looks like a nice fly.  Saw one that was similar on a DVD called czech nymph. Looks like another fly that has to be added to my box, more choices...time to get rid of more of the old

That particular rod is the Loop. I have a Hardy Drifter that I bought from Torrey at Housatonic
outfitters . I cannot make up my mind which one I like better. The water was at 621 yesterday. Today its running at 590. I will hit the river in again today. I hear you on the kid thing. I raised five . I lost a lot of fishing time but being a dad is worth it. I used a size eight Knapek jig hook because that is what I have with me. I am going to order the shalka hooks from wflies .
