So I tied a few flies the other day for our local tailwater (Nantahala).   It was 9 degrees and ice was an issue all day.  Not unsual for you NE guys but fairly uncommon down here. 

I used some Swisher dubbing.  I only tied one white one but thats what they wanted......figures.  There is pieces of rubber leg in the dubbing but i cut these down into shorter sections.

Its a size 12 2499

Those flies are great! They look like killers. That Swisher (Gen-X, peacock plus, etc...) dubbing rocks, there are so many things you can do with it, and the stuff catches fish.
