TAIL: 3 Rusty Brown Ostrich Herl Fibers

RIB: x-sm Wapsi wire, Gold

ABDOMEN: Rusty Brown Ostrich Herl, twisted and wrapped

THORAX: Fine and Dry PMD Dub

HACKLE: Ginger

WING: Tan Coastal Deer Hair, angled forward



PMD CDC EMERGER

HOOK: TMC 100, # 14-18

THREAD: Gordon Griffith’s 14/0, Brown

SHUCK AND BACK: Dun Zelon

ABDOMEN: Pheasant tail fibers

THORAX: Stalcup’s dry PMD dubbing

WING: Dun CDC faethers (2 or 3) depending on hook size

RIB: Wapsi (XSM) or Largutan fine , copper wire



SOFT HACKLE BEAD PMD

Hook: TMC 2488, 14-18

Thread: Gordon Griffiths 14/0 Brown

Shuck/tail: Brown Zelon

Abdomen: Rusty Brown Goose Biot ( fringed up ) Wapsi

Rib: Largutan fine gold wire

Underwing: kinky light dun zelon

Thorax: PMD yellow, Stalcups

Bead: Gold glass, 15/0

Wings/legs: Partridge

I fish this fly on the swing or with the Leisenring lift. It is a take off of Craig Matthew’s Epeorus Emerger. It has served me well on the Madison and Stillwater, particularly effective fished coming out of riffles and in soft water along banks.
