All the rage right now Vladi's Condom Worm is simple to tie and really effective.  It's really just about the closest you can get to a "Pink Worm" and still wrap something on a hook.

Just a few tips to remember:
1) Try to keep a slim profile.  Resist the urge to over bulk the lead.
2) Fish Tippet heavy enough that it doesn't snap off on the hook set.
3) Use 2 pliers to help make that unique bend.
4) Tie them in many sizes from 1s down to 12s.  With a collection of these great anchors you may never have to carry lead again!
5)Experiment with "hotspots".

Thanks for posting the website. You can't find pink condoms anywhere around here. I've looked every drug store, and gas station bathroom around, and even embarrassed myself going to the health department and asking if they had any. You should have seen the look I got for that one. lol!!

That's hilarious   I'm trying to think who was telling me their exploits traveling all over Utah trying to find these things... he had some pretty funny stories trying to describe why exactly he needed specifically pink condoms.

There is a little condom store in Easton PA.  The girl who works there always gets a laugh when I come in for supplies.  I don't get the pink ones there, just the unlubed trojans that I use for my caddis larva.
