I think there's something about the language barrier that even makes it better. No distracting dialogue. Kind of like a good foreign flick like El Postino or something. Just outstanding patterns and step by steps. I love sites like this - I like to just flip through them for a couple minutes than sit down at the bench and see what evolves.

there really are some sweet ties on there. I noticed they use over sized beads on some of there nymphs very different from what you see in the US. I think i will have to go watch the US nationals in St College just to see if i pick anything up.

I really like their emergers this one looks like a deadly Sulpher emerger.

Right, oversized beads and large bulkings of hot thread make some really nice trigger points. The emerger section is one of the best - overall I just love who buggy everything looks.

If by some chance I don't make Nationals this year I'll be down there watching. You'll probably find me stalking GD for a while with a beer, foldingchair, notebook, and a pair of binoculars.

I watch the video on the French site.

I found it funny that no matter where you fish int eh work there if always a guy trying to snag fish by other anglers.

I have been using this site a lot for inspiration and really love the color and hot spots they have to there nymphs. I just need to get over how crazy they look and fish them. I guess the french know what they are dong since they seem to dominate in world competitions.

ive been aware of this site for quite some time and totally agree its fantastic. Some very useful tutorials and interesting patterns on there. Theres alot of awesome use of CDC. That guy loves dubbing loops. I gotta get on that.

Tell me about it!!! I am currently doing some translation work/editing for my friend Karel Krivanec ( author of the book "Czech Nymph" ). The choice of words and phrases are a bit humourous at times...
