Well,
seeing as how it might be appropriate to showcase this video here, I thought I would throw a link up to my latest video. For all you comp guys, substitute the copper bead with a tungsten bead, and the lead free wire with lead wire and you have a possible anchor for the competitive nymph techniques. I like to tie them as seen in the video as they are a very versatile fly that can be put into just about any nymphing rig. Hope you like the video.

That's a very nice fly. I've been experimenting with some woven nymphs and this one looks like another that will end up in my box. Thanks for taking the time to share.

I agree Rich nice tie. The tmc 100 spbl is such a versatile hook. I like for certain soft hackles, dries and nymphs. I found a small shop that had them for 4.25 a pack but they haven't restocked since I bought them out.

great video Rich, thanks for sharing it. I was just trying to tie my first woven nymphs last night. I had some trouble with getting even tension just as you discussed in the video. I'll definitely give this one a shot as I try to get the technique down.
