Saturday June 2nd – Sunday June 3rd

FIPS Rules (with following changes)
- 1.5 hour sessions for stream/river venues
- Competitor controlled.

Chittenango Creek:

Water Type: Steep gradient with fast pocket water
Comp Water: Upstream of Fenner Town Line starting at Public Fishing Rights Section
Practice Water: Upstream of Fenner Town Line to start of Public Fishing Rights Section

West Canada Creek:
Fish: Wild and Stocked Brown Trout

Water Type: Big long runs, riffles and pocket water
Comp Water: Entire Fly Fishing Catch & Release Only Section from Comstock Bridge upstream (Rt 28).
Practice Water: Downstream of Comstock Bridge

Nine Mile Creek:
Fish: Wild and Stocked Brown Trout, Wild and Stocked Brook Trout and Wild Rainbow Trout.

Water Type: Swift run, riffles and pocket water
Comp Water: Intersection of Rt 174 and Froward Road upstream to Marcellus Falls.
Practice Water: Downstream of intersection of Rt 174 and Froward Road

4th Venue TBA
Possible venues include: Little York Lake, Skaneateles Creek or Chittenango Creeek

Travel time to each venue is (from the hotel)
Nine Mile Creek: 15min
Chittenango Creek: 30min
West Canada Creek: 1h 15min
Little York Lake: 35min
Skaneateles Creek: 20-35min (depending on sector)

Details:
Limited to 32 competitors. (6 reserved for local anglers)
$40 / Competitor
Please provide your own transportation and lunch. (car pooling is recommended)
Competitors will fish 4, 1.5 hour sessions and control 4 sessions.
Competitors will be split into at least 2 groups based on total number of competitors.

Schedule of Events:
Friday:
6:00pm: Competitor Draw at Holiday Inn Express - Fairgrounds

Saturday:
6:30am: Competitor’s Arrive at Holiday Inn Express - Fairgrounds
7:00am – 8:15am: Competitors Travel to venues and prep time
8:15am – 9:45am: Session 1-1
9:45am – 10:15am: Travel time to next beat and prep time
10:15am – 11:45am: Session 1-2
11:45am – 1:15pm: Travel time to next venue, lunch and prep time
1:15pm – 2:45pm: Session 2-1
2:45pm – 3:15pm: Travel time to next beat and prep time
3:15pm – 4:45pm: Session 2-2

Sunday:
6:30am: Competitor’s Arrive at Holiday Inn Express - Fairgrounds
7:00am – 8:15am: Competitors Travel to venues and prep time
8:15am – 9:45am: Session 3-1
9:45am – 10:15am: Travel time to next beat and prep time
10:15am – 11:45am: Session 3-2
11:45am – 1:15pm: Travel time to next venue, lunch and prep time
1:15pm – 2:45pm: Session 4-1
2:45pm – 3:15pm: Travel time to next beat and prep time
3:15pm – 4:45pm: Session 4-2

No-Fish:
A comp water no-fish policy will be in affect starting Sunday May 27th at 8pm. Practice water will remain open.

Hotel:
Event Hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express Fairgrounds located at intersection of I90 and I690 for $89.95 per night. Discount Rate Keyword for use will be “Action Sports – Fly Fishing”. You must call (315) 701-5000 to make your reservation to get this discount as online will not have this rate code. This hotel will be home base for the event.

3rd: $50

For those of you doing the Team USA Regional's it is my hope this event will be the backbone in terms of venues for a 2013 Team USA Regional. The idea is to make this event a yearly big standalone event leading up to the USA Regional ~60 days later.

For anyone who hasn't fished these waters you are in for a treat.

This will be SILVER Sanction event for the TL standings.

Due to the large amount of planning and organization to put this on I will be requiring pre registration for this event. I will get everyone's email and contact you come March with a registration form and waiver to be sent back to me along with payment. These will be due by May 1st allowing 1 month to move to waiting list if needed.

Putting out information this far in advance it is my hope that everyone can plan accordingly.

Anita,
I will have detailed google maps labeling comp and practice water before the event. Since its a 5 day no fish still have plenty of time. I will have a full competitor packet for download. This is just the "trailer" if you will. I am a huge proponent of putting out 95% early and refining vs 100% last min. KK called me about travel times due to WCC venue. In that instance I am going to most likely to make WCC an afternoon session for both groups to cut down travel time. As always, feel free to ask any questions!
