Nine Mile Creek Mini – Syracuse, NY
Saturday, July 28th

Registration will open Monday, April 2nd at 6pm per Dejon.

FIPS Rules (with following changes)
- 2 hour sessions
- Competitor controlled.

Fish: Wild and Stocked Brown Trout, Wild and Stocked Brook Trout and Wild Rainbow Trout.

Comp Water: Intersection of Rt 174 and Froward Road upstream to Marcellus Falls.
Practice Water: Downstream of intersection of Rt 174 and Froward Road

Details:
Limited to 20 competitors.
$20 / Competitor
Please provide your own transportation and lunch. (car pooling is recommended)
Competitors will fish 2, 2 hour sessions and control 2 sessions.
Competitors will be split into 2 groups..

Schedule of Events:
Sunday:
7:00 - 9:00am :: Session 1
10:00 - 12:00pm :: Session 2
1:00 - 3:00pm :: Session 3
4:00 - 6:00pm :: Session 4

No-Fish:
A comp water no-fish policy will be in affect starting Sunday July 22nd at 8pm. Practice water will remain open.

Hotel:
Event Hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express Fairgrounds located at intersection of I90 and I690 for $89.95 per night. Discount Rate Keyword for use will be “Action Sports – Fly Fishing”. You must call (315) 701-5000 to make your reservation to get this discount as online will not have this rate code. This hotel will be home base for the event.

$80 prize to most fish caught.

My wife's family is from there and we're there for a wedding.

There's more than perch, Sodus Bay has an awesome largemouth population. I used to pull my bass boat up there and wear them out back when I used to fish for the dark side. There's also some decent little steelhead streams to hit when I'm there in the winter.

I will update as needed but for now this event is still a go.

Sorry Ken, I had to drop out of this since you moved the date to Saturday. Sunday worked, but the whole reason I'm coming up to NY is for a wedding and it's that Saturday.

With recent changes to the Team USA North Regional this water is now closed for that event. As such this comp will be cancelled. Please check out the Team USA North Regional on this water or some of the other fall events in the area. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
