The dust has settled and I think we have a "finalized" competitor's list for the SE Qualifier. There is a waitlist, and should a drop occur I'll make updates and notify the next angler in line.

Finally, if you have a colleague who'd like to volunteer as a controller during the event, have them sign up via the website. There is an electronic form located at the bottom of the SE Qualifier page. It can be done entirely online!

Very unofficial reports tell me USA and Freestone are doing well on the first day:

Possible:
Graffam, Weiss, and Hanner with 2 placing pts. Kaloz and Stephens with 3.

We'll have to wait till' the final tally. Those results look rushed. Report on FB says Pat is 2nd. Also, with groups of 8, i would theorize, the lowest total placing pts you can get is 16.

They will be posted sometime today, everyone was cold, wet and, tired last night. If I remember correctly the top three were Weiss, Graffam, and Stephens.

Larry Hofferberth, the lead judge, will e-mail me the spreadsheet later today. He had to be at work at 4 am. I will then forward it to Dejon.

I'm told he, Jen, and Tim have quadruple checked the results. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy to post at the moment and can't remember the exact order of the top ten.

I can pass on congratulations to Pat Weiss (Gold), Josh Graffam (Silver) and Josh Stephens (Bronze). Another Team USA sweep!

Conditions for the tournament went from picture perfect on Friday to b@ll busting cold rain all day yesterday. We saw a bit of snow late in the evening, and the roads up to the lake were getting treacherous.

There are a ton of people I need to thank, but I have vans to clean and beat markers to pull. I'll update this thread when I get home later today.

Thanks again to all who controlled, competed, or supported the effort!

Chris it was a great competition, weather and all....

For anyone who was in my flight that fished the lake last, I got home and found two identical Fishpond reel cases, only one is mine. If you are missing one let me know by sending me a PM with your address and I will get it out to you soon as I can. Sorry for the mix up, it was on top of my bag and I was in a hurry.
