Maine Fly Fishing (Year round streams?)

Hey friends,
Its been awhile.  I've been living in Los Angeles the past year and have been pulling my hair out because I've been unable to get out fly fishing once.... Luckily, I'll be going to Colorado for the first time in a week and a half to fishing the frying pan, colorado and other streams in the Glennwood Spring area.

BUT... that is not why I am making this post.  I am also planning on moving from Los Angeles at the end of the summer.  I of course plan on finding a place with ample fly fishing opportunities.  The Portland Maine area is a very good possibility for a future residence. 

For those who are familiar with Maine rivers, what are the more popular rivers?  Are there any streams in the Portland area that fish well year round?  Is there good inland trout fishing in the Portland area?
