Any of you guys from PA want to hook up around December 30th? I'm going to be doing to my annual North East Christmas family trek to NY/PA and will be staying with the in-laws in Allentown December 29 - January 1st. I'd love to meet up with any of you guys to share some comp fishing ideas/tactics/flies or just plain fish. I usually make a trip over to Penns during my trip, but that usually depends on weather and water conditions. I also try to hit the Tully in Reading or one of the streams up in the hills near Hamburg. Let me know.

Damn, I wish I was available. I'm off to the Salmon River the day after Christmas and won't be back home (Central NJ) until New Years Day. Too bad, I'm committed and I really can't change my plans.

Hey Bob. On Dec 31st , Bucks county TU holds an end of the year gathering on the little lehigh in Allentown near the heritage fly shop. Its a good mix of guys and gals. Oddly enough myself and 3-4 other members of Team Freestone usually show up. It starts in the am and goes till whenever. PM me and I can give you more info.

I may look into that. The in-laws actually live in Northampton, which is just a few minutes away. I'll shoot you a PM when the time gets closer.

I will also keep you in mind. Like I said, it's all in the water/weather and it always seems that Penns blows out 3 days after Christmas.

Hi Bob, sounds good you will have fun at the TU event this will be the first year I will miss it in years. Regarding Penn's you are right it has been blown out a lot this year. I was up for Thanksgiving and this past weekend and it was unfishable both weekends. It is good for the stream to have so much water and little pressure. Keep me posted on your trip and I will keep my fingers crossed.
