Anyone else in a post-Nationals hangover (litterally and figuratively)? I feel like it is the week after Christmas and all that excitement is over and now you have to wait a whole year.

Obviously I didn't attend, but it happens to me after every single big comp. Whether I win or lose.

I think Chris Smith called it "Trip withdrawal."

I've always referred to this phenomenon as Post-Party Depression. The only cure is planning more trips.

It was only 2 hours away for me, so not much of a trip since that is a normal weekend outing. I just feel the need to compete. Too many years playing sports has just made me too competitive.

Did you mean 18th or 19th? I'd be possibly for the 18th. I get in at 1 AM on Friday night. Sunday would be much better!

Also, 25th and 26th are good.

I am still fishing just as hard as if nationals is still a week away.... Next year I am bringing it and no more alcohol for me especially. I am starting a new chapter in my life with tons more dedication and focus than I have ever had before.
