Last time it was Spring Creek and the Little Juniata… this time it’s Big Fishing Creek and Penns. Leaving sharp 5am Saturday morning. Booked a site in Poe Paddy Sunday night right on the river. Reports are many places will be a zoo, but it will be great practice on some heavily pressured water and we can always move. With such a “target rich environment” within a pittance of 1hour driving there’s always a backup plan. Like Bald Eagle, or Kish, or, or, or maybe back to Spring Creek… she knows we have a score to settle.
So, 2 Venison dinners packed. Cameras charged. Drake and Sulphur patterns tied. Beer… cold. Maps printed.
